Hosting a bridal or baby shower soon?  What could be better than a private bridal/baby shower cooking class for the bride or mother-to-be?  Let Chef Alli show you how to make cooking fun, enjoyable and delicious.

The Bridal/Baby Shower classes are approximately 1 1/2 hours (with an extra hour reserved in the Hy-Vee Club Room for opening your gifts) and include the following:

• Light Appetizers Upon Arrival

• Beverages:  Tea and Ice Water

• Generous Tastings and Copies of all Recipes

• Chef Alli will Teach and Prepare Delightful Dishes for Your Group

• Mom or Bride-To-Be is Encouraged to assist Chef Alli in cooking for your group

• Monogrammed Apron, Cookbook and Decorated Cake (from Hy-Vee Bakery) available as gifts for Bride or Mom-To-Be at beginning of class for an additional fee

• Attendance - Minimum: 15, Maximum: 40

• Cost:   $25 per Person

Appetizers – The Start to a Great Evening

Don’t you enjoy what happens when friends and family get together around food? Maybe it’s the only time you get to stop and spend some much needed time with the people you love so why not make it easy on yourself. Let Chef Alli teach you simple strategies for great entertaining.  She will begin by teaching you how to create an artfully designed cheese tray followed by make-ahead appetizers that will wow your guests.

Back 2 Basics – “Need to Know” Everyday Culinary Skills

Let Chef Alli show you how to make simple comfort foods using a few culinary techniques and must-have kitchen tools.  Learn knife skills, great ways to prepare fresh vegetables, cook the perfect pasta and create simple sauces that will make everyday cooking a breeze.  This is a great class - fun, informative and fresh!

Impressive Dinner for Two

Cooking dinner for two?  Let Chef Alli teach you how to have an enjoyable evening while creating an impressive dinner for your significant other.  This class features an appetizer, salad, main course with complimenting side dish (of course!) and, finally, a delectable dessert to complete your date night.
