Where & How it All Started
Chef Alli's was a concept born as Chef Alli Winter sought a way to fulfill her mission of getting families back around the dinner table. As the demand for her services as a personal chef grew she wondered how she could provide healthy and convenient meals to more families. With a wave of her wooden spoon (and a lot of hard work), Menu Makers was launched. In 2007 Menu Makers was re-branded as Chef Alli's Meal Assembly and Culinary Center.
Since opening her doors in the fall of 2003, Chef Alli has gone from hosting a handful of sessions each month to several each day! In December 2007 Chef Alli opened her new store located at Total Home Concepts in Topeka, Kansas.
In 2008 Chef Alli became the spokesperson for the Topeka Hy-Vee store and teaches culinary classes and Rising Chef Academy. She moved her Take and Bake Tonite operations to Hy-Vee offering her customers 24/7 access to her delicious entrees.
Chef Alli says, "I wanted to find a way to help alleviate the pressure put on families as they constantly face the daily challenge of 'What should I make for dinner?' It's rewarding to hear satisfied customers tell me how much Chef Alli's has changed their lives. That's what we're all about."
